So after putting the call out to the gang, I have a new book to reveal for the last quarter of 2017!!! Where is this year going? (also sorry geminii for being a few days late I know you're very excited) It's a short little number at only 160 pages. The Spinning Heart - Donal RyanIn the aftermath of Ireland's financial collapse, dangerous tensions surface in an Irish town. As violence flares, the characters face a battle between public persona and inner desires. Through a chorus of unique voices, each struggling to tell their own kind of truth, a single authentic tale unfolds.
I've checked and again there are copies in my local library and below with the Amazon link: www.amazon.co.uk/Spinning-Heart-Donal-Ryan/dp/1781620083/ref=sr_1_3_twi_pap_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1504430031&sr=8-3&keywords=donal+ryanNow don't everyone panic, I know some of you haven't read the third quarter yet, but there is still a month to go until this one officially starts, so plenty of time to be finishing that one

Thanks elliej84 .. I think I said intrigued, rather than excited, but that's close enough .. Before I embark on a 15 Book Series, I want to 'honour my commitments' to the Group, so to speak .. Reserved at my Library ..

I just got a kindle copy. I might see if the library can order it in next time I am in as they can order books in if available from supplier unless the kindle copy drops in price as never read this author so not sure if will like the style but will also keep an eye on charity shops as well.

Oh I've just read this one in August! It was a 5 star read for me, will be surprised if it's not in my top books of the year, absolutely superbly written and constructed.

That's encouraging, Lindsay! I was just thinking it didn't sound like me, but perhaps I'll give it a try. I probably won't get to it until the end of the quarter, though.
