En quête de nos ancêtres by Joseph Nwandyie, set in Bolivia. Very difficult to find one translated from Spanish. This one was written by a Belgian author from a Rwandan family who's researching slave trade in Bolivia by the Spanish. Difficult to source and requiring a specific app to be read.

I started this series with #2 and didn't have a problem with that. However I wouldn't start with #4 because it refers back to things that happened between the two men in the previous books.
