Just wondered what you thought of Snow Blind, Aileen? I took out a 6-month book subscription last year, and this was one of the books I was sent, but I haven't read it yet, and haven't really heard anything about it anywhere!

I took out a 6-month book subscription last year, and this was one of the books I was sent, but I haven't read it yet, and haven't really heard anything about it anywhere! I really enjoyed it Josette, but as the others will confirm, I'm on a bit of an Icelandic roll at the moment! Although crime, it was more atmospheric than crime-ridden, set in a real village on the northern coast which I was nerdish enough to follow on Google Maps whilst I was reading. A good central character and cast in general, in fact my friend saw my GR review on FB and recommended it to her teenage son, he immediately downloaded it to his Kindle and then couldn't put it down. The next one is Nightblind, and there is apparently a third which hasn't yet been released or maybe not yet translated for us.

Can I join in and also can I add the books I've read so far as well if they are ideal for the challenge?

I'm doing this albeit casually, I'm just seeing how many I do in the course of a normal year rather than be strict with it. Are you sticking to author names or will you have to move over for some of the more obscure letters? So when I said I was going to do this casually, I've actually ended up finding this one much easier to stick to than the 40 book challenge. Oh well still lots of time left this year!
