I did actually find out the title but I can't find where I wrote it down or saved it. Here's what I remember:
-angel on a bike on the cover
-girl meets an angel he has her fruit pip and it instantly turns into a tree
-as proof he's an angel he says he hasn't got a belly button
-she's stolen as a baby and is wiped out of existence the angel is helping her
-she was stolen from her pram
That's it. I think it might've been a well known writer. I read it in the 90s. Thanks. It's worth a shot asking on here.
