As you may know, I have been awarded the honour of organising the Book Circle for 2023
Some people have already said they would like to join:
peppercricket (Janice)
Some people have already said they would like to join:
peppercricket (Janice)
adelynechan (Adelyne)
celia48 (Celia)
mattydog (Jeannine)
cornishgirl3 (Mary)
rosemary3 (Rosemary)
More would be very welcome! Please post below or PM me if you'd like to join.
Here's how it works (mostly stolen from Janice's post last year):
1. Choose a book you think might appeal across the board/or maybe one to take other circlers out of their comfort zone/or even your favourite read - up to you. Please no books from a series.
2. Under 300 pages is good, because we all have too many books to read and no-one needs to be under pressure. It's also cheaper to post a thin book. Stick to second class, large letter postage, where possible.
3. Check the list of all the previous circle books to see if your book has been sent before:

It may not matter if it was a long time ago. PM me with the details of the book you would like to send, so that I can check around, see who is sending what, which members are in the circle etc. Don't worry, I will let you know promptly if it's OK or not, in case you need to choose another.
4. Please PM me your full name and address, your email address, and the title & author of your book before January, in case we have latecomers.
5. Sometime in January I will PM you the name and address of the circler that you will send to each month.
6. Please send your book to that circler in the first week of February. Please insert a card large enough to contain everyone's comments on the book, and you'll get that back with your book at the end.
7. You should receive a book from the circler sending to you within the first week of February, and thereafter the first week of each month till the end. Please try and keep to this timetable, and let me know if you cannot, due to holidays or whatever. Also - please PM me each month to say "book has arrived".
8. Please stick to sending on just one book a month. If you finish one early, wait until the right month to send it, otherwise it gets confusing!
