From Kindle monthly offers, wishlister, Isaac and the Egg by Bobby Palmer. By the way Amazon seem to have significantly increased the price of their monthly offer in English books 😣

Obviously RISI meet day is followed by a trip to this thread!
From the meet I received my next circle book from rosemary3 , wishlister The Lieutenant by Kate Grenville from windysisters (I wasn't expecting this, a lovely surprise, thank you!), Say Goodbye for Now by Catherine Ryan Hyde from the book dip, Sweetland by Michael Crummey from the Mrs Mac book dip (thanks eightlegs !) and The Kitchen House by Kathleen Grissom from the pile-in-the-middle.
After coming out of Oxfam empty handed, I then went to Oxford Street to pick up a (non-book related) birthday gift for a friend, then decided I'd walk to Angel for dinner. It was a bit early when I got there, so I popped into the CRUK shop and picked up The Jigsaw Man by Nadine Matheson and The Reading List by Sara Nisha Adams.
Then it was still too early, and while wandering around I came across an independent bookstore that caught my eye as they were selling brand-new NF books 5 pounds (not all of them, but there were a fair few good ones at this discount). I bought The Intelligence Trap by David Robson, The Art of Reading Minds by Henrik Fexeus and The Beauty Myth by Naomi Wolf.
So, my TBR has grown by a bit more than I would have liked (I was saying to peppercricket after Oxfam that I'd only picked up 4, less than my aim of 6), but overall I'm a happy bunny!

I also came away from the meet with a good haul! Bought one in Oxfam to start off the day, Platero and I by Juan Ramon Jimenez. Spanish classic about a man and his donkey. Then from Adelyne, The Essex Serpent for the Risi quarterly read.
From Sarah from Mrs Mac's books by request,
The Lake District Murder by John Bude Inspector French and the Box Office Murders by Freeman Wills Crofts The Amazing Mrs Pollifax by Dorothy Gilman Not At Home by Doris Langley Moore Hester and Harriet: Love, Lies and Linguine by Hilary Spiers.
From the extra books pile, Alice Bliss by Laura Harrington and Dead Man's Hand by Mark Lock.
From the dip, The Nightingale by Kristin Hannah. This is one that has often caught my eye but I've never read it.
From the Mrs Mac dip, The Middlesteins by Jami Attenberg. Thanks everyone! I am thrilled with my new additions
