Anyone else come across this? There's a lady who has become a Ladybird book collector and runs a Ladybird website and she's currently doing a touring exhibition. It's been all over but has just opened in Bath and will be until 14th April. www.victoriagal.org.uk/event/wonderful-world-ladybird-book-artists I was brought up on Ladybird, mum got lots of the reading scheme ones to help my sister and we had a fair few fairy tale and non fiction ones too - some as Sunday school prizes. I'm pretty sure the family collection ended up in my loft when we cleared out my parents house. I have very fond memories of them. I'm definitely thinking about going to see the exhibition so if anyone fancies a mini meet we could see if we can find a convenient date

Thanks for this, I've let my BIL know, he's got a vast collection of Ladybird books!

I would certainly be up for it Sarah. Bath is such a lovely place to visit anyway and the exhibition should bring back lots of memories.
