My review:
The author is a former Risi member (Count) and so I was delighted to find she was finally published.
I found this to be a compelling read, full of humour. The narrator doesn't shy away from the bleak reality of her life, job, relationship and the future prospects for them all.
However, I could only score this 7 or maybe 8 out of 10 simply because whilst I enjoyed the reading experience, I was disappointed by the ending when the story just seemed to fall off a cliff. I'm not sure there was an "apocalypse" and I didn't find it "heartbreaking". Sorry Alice!
