I really enjoyed Kane and Abel when I read it a million years ago, I'd probably think it was a load of old tosh now. Me too, not sure it's my kind of thing now but I do remember enjoying it and reading other, similar ones he's written.

Dear All,
Thanks for commenting about Kane and Abel. I am the kind of reader who reads a lot of books, but don't care too much for positively not liking some. But there is an exception for some books, one of them being Kane and Abel.
It is so 1970's.
I am a student at Open University, and still remember in the mid-2000's how the University wanted its students to start interacting with each other, on forums like this one. In order to start the forum, there were some novelty questions. One of them was 'Who would you send into outer space, and why?' I had absolutely no hesitation in replying, I would send Jeffrey Archer into space, for the monstrosity that is Kane and Abel'!
Yours polish6, Marek

I read it in the 80s, and I thought it was great! Wouldn't read it now. I have read one of his subsequently, was ok. Easy reading.
