I listed my 40 in an earlier post and have now finished the extra 10. I will not be able to read the extra 25 but may try those categories next year. It would have been easier if I hadn't read all the Patrick O'Brian Master and Commander series, or if I'd had the full list earlier in the year.
41 - A book published before you were born: The Fortune of War - Patrick O'Brian 42 - A book based on a true story: Reasons to Stay Alive - Matt Haig 43 - A funny book: A Zoo in my Luggage - Gerald Durrell 44 - A book with a sub-title: Quiet (The Power of Introverts in a World that Can't Stop Talking - Susan Cain 45 - A "multimedia" book: The Secret Diary of Hendrik Groen 83 1/4 years old - Hendrik Groen 46 - A book that has an alliterative title: Maggot Moon - Sally Gardner 47 - A book you can finish in a day: Farm Boy - Michael Morpurgo 48 - A book involving travel: The Letter of Marque - Patrick O'Brian
49 - A book that takes place on an island: Treason's Harbour - Patrick O'Brian 50 - A book written by someone famous for something other than being an author: Open - Andre Agassi
45 not quite in the spirit of the category but close enough (written in diary entries only). If I'd had time to read House of Leaves again that would have fitted much better.

These are my Mum's books: She finished the 40 and managed 3 out of the extra 10. She's in a book group and I sometimes read those books too so there's a bit of overlap but only one category is the same book for both of us. I was given the list as a spreadsheet and the first name / surnames are sometimes the wrong way round so I may have copied the error. She also had two number 5's and was missing no 15 so I took an educated guess...
