Does anyone have the situation where you're checking up on your Reading Challenge and some questions appear about books being read in 2019 so you click yes only to find that you've gome from being behind 7 books to now 20 ahead and I want to correct it to how it was.
And yes, I'm back. Goodness how I've missed you all...

I've not had this happen but I assume the only way to fix it would bee to look at your books read list and check the dates are correct. If you see any marked as 2019 which shouldn't be then change the date to another year.

Haven't had that problem Trouble I had was this year was the first year that I did challenge and didn't really understand about listing the books I was going to read and then clicking to say when they were resd. It took me a few months to realise what I was doing wrong but got it sorted now. Hope someone can help you with your query. And welcome back! Sal

Oh dear. I'll just have to remember what my true count is for the moment. If you can see my challenge number, just ignore it for the miment

All the extra books will be twice read. Es it will have to be another year to make it more accurate for this year's count.

Hi Julie, good to have you back .. Like Wendy said, go to your READ shelf - you can sort the shelf by date using the headings, so if you only changed these yesterday, they should all be dated 31/10/19 .. If they're all likely to be rereads, I think you'll have to go into each one and remove the second read .. should only take a few seconds for each one - annoying though (that's the sort of thing I would do .. Lol)

But even if they are re-reads, if you've re-read them this year they would count in the challenge?

I use Goodreads on my Mobile so i cant do the change there.
I use Goodreads on my tablet. I can see I've read a book twice but am unable to delete or change the date.
Last option is to look out my laptop (wherever it is) and hopefully I can correct my count there.
Thanks all

Think I've sorted it.
I went to my challenge and below the first 10 books of your challenge there is a link of all your books for the year.
Here you will see the duplication of the books you've read twice. Change them from "read" to "want to read" and it worked for me.... I think
