Set in Norway and translated into English, these are nice gentle crimes, ie not too much blood or gore! However, they are not always easy to find but you can get them in libraries. I’ve read the first six. - In the Darkness
- Don’t Look Back
- He Who Fears the Wolf
- When the Devil Holds the Candle
- Calling Out For You
- Black Seconds
- The Murder of Harriet Krohn
- The Water’s Edge
- Bad Intentions
- The Caller
- The Drowned Boy
- Hell Fire
- The Whisperer

I love translated works, feel like I can get to know more authors and cultures that way. Ordered a used copy of the first book to see how I get along with it, thanks for the recommendation!
