This year's challenge is 50 and am on book 20.
I've brought the number down from 190 due to change in job. Hours working have gone up so less time at home to read but still managing to plough through the tbr pile. Great way to switch off from the worries of work

I also passed mine, mostly because of the lockdown last winter/spring. Increased the number, but I've just passed it again now...

I didn't increase it as I feel like 100 is really the number I hope to get through each year. Given I got through the first hundred so quickly I've been personally trying to reach the double century... not sure when I'll get the chance again

I technically passed mine a while back but every time I get close I’ve been extending it! Back in Jan I set it at 52, back in June I raised it to 75 and since then whenever I’ve gotten within 5 of finishing I’ve raised it another 5, it’s currently on 100, and I have just finished book 95 of the year, I’m not going to raise it again now, I shall stay at 100 and if I go past it, I’ll just count them as extra! So chuffed with that figure, the majority are audio books as I listen as I walk to and from my bus stops, and sometimes on the bus too if I’ve gotten engrossed! It’s amazing how much I can listen to, I have a 15 min walk at each end of my bus ride, so it’s an hour of listening each day, and depending on the speed of the reader I can often listen on x2 or even x3 speed so can whizz through them! Nat

I reduced mine from 100 to 85! I might just get there, but it will be close I reckon.

Just completed my challenge of 150 books. Didn't think I was going to make it as I was reading a lot slower than last year but I have, and with time to spare.

I managed 39 of my target of 40, completing the remaining one on New Year's Day so I call that a win.
And I've just set my 2022 target to the same with the ambition of beating it. I've recently re-discovered audio books so I'm hoping that might help!

Just set by challenge of 160 books. I put it at 150 last year and thought I wasn't going to make it but a late surge got me to 179.

Set mine at 150, the same as I originally set last year. Ended up reading a lot more last year, but hoping for no lockdowns this year despite the increased reading time...

Did my 2021 challenge, even managed to squeak one more in. I've set it again at 100 for this year, so we'll see how we go.

I've reduced mine to 52 this year because I now have People's Friend delivered every week, it reduces book reading time even though I'm reading just as much!
