Carrying forward Mr Two Bomb by William Coles (tree) and The Henna Wars by Adiba Jaigirdar (audio). Characters in the latter are annoying me immensely but I so want to know how it ends!
Buddy read with a friend: A Spark of Light by Jodi Picoult To-read-next pile: Summer at / Christmas at / Confetti at the Cornish Cafe by Philippa Ashley, The Hike by Lucy Clarke
Non-fiction: Show Me the Bodies by Peter Apps, The Airbnb Story by Leigh Gallagher
Borrowbox queue: Small Change by Jeff Kreisler & Dan Ariely, Psychopaths Anonymous by Will Carver

Simple plan - read as many books as I can! Seriously, my reading speed has dropped dramatically and I won't be completing any challenges. I've got my current read (The Last Devil to Die) and also Death and Croissants by Ian Moore from the library and a few more on reservation so hopefully I can stay ahead of them. It's a shame because it think the above 2 books are probably quite similar so I might try to fit a quick read of something different in between if I can manage it.

I am reading my 38th book this year, Cold Comfort Farm by Stella Gibbons (a book by a famous author that I haven't read before), then Lessons in Chemistry by Bonnie Garmus (a book I have looked forward to reading for a long time) and I've yet to decide on the the 40th book which is a book written under a pseudonym. I have plenty of choices, Shirley by Charlotte Bronte, Moving by Jenny Eclair (both on my shelf), possibly a Robert Galbraith or even The Island of Missing Trees which is my reading group choice for December.
