I will be carrying on my version which is one letter per month over 2 years (therefore only 24 books to give some leeway with tricky letters). However my twist is they all will be new-to-me authors and I won't be making any special purchases to complete the list - they are either from my TBR or if luck is on my side, will be reading group choices.
I missed L in December as I ran out of time so I will start with L for January and if I get chance to catch up a book will do so
2016 January: Who Killed Netta Maul by Frank Arthur February: Murder in Pimlico by John G Brandon March: If You Dare by Kresley Cole April: The Gargoyle by Andrew Davidson May: The Name of the Rose by Umberto Eco June: Everybody Knows this is Nowhere by Alice Furse July: Emotional Geology by Linda Gillard August: Assassin's Apprentice by Robin Hobb September: Before the Fact by Francis Iles October: The Cold Dish by Craig Johnson November: One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest by Ken Kesey
2017 January: The Book of Human Skin by Michelle Lovric January: The Leveling by Dan Mayland Feb/March: The Birddog Tape by Barry Norman March: The Talk of the Town by Ardal O'Hanlon April: The Street Philosopher by Matthew Plampin May: Dog On It by Spencer Quinn June: Amy Snow by Tracy Rees July: Danegeld by Susan Squires August: Between Each Breath by Adam Thorpe Sept: Death in August by Marco Vichi Oct: Instruments of Darkness by Robert Wilson Nov: The Small Hours of the Morning by Margaret Yorke Dec: The Girl Below by Bianca Zander

We by Yevgeny Zamyatin is only 99p on Amazon, a sci-fi novel from 1924 if anyone needs a Z book . WE tells the story of the minutely organized United State, where all citizens are not individuals but only he-Numbers and she-Numbers existing in identical glass apartments with every action regulated by the "Table of Hours." It is a community dedicated to the proposition that freedom and happiness are incompatible; that most men believe their freedom to be more than a fair exchange for a high level of materialistic happiness.
WE is recognized as the inspiration for George Orwell's famous 1984, and wasn't published in Russia until 1988 due to official censorship. It is generally regarded as a classic Utopian novel and an historic landmark in Soviet literature.
