I always wanted to live in a Jilly Cooper novel (Rivals). Glorious countryside, summer days, horses, dogs, a sprawling farmhouse, parties, flash cars, the races, booze, illicit affairs and the utter git that is Rupert Campbell Black.
Over to you.

Ooh Janice, you like sexy romps in the hay?? I think I may have just learned more about you than I ever expected!! I would love to be sidekick to Eve Dallas from the IN Death series, futuristic cop drama with flying cars! Only downside is the fact they no longer have meat and proper chocolate hmm

I always wanted to the live in the cottage in the Magic Faraway books, with the wood and the eponymous tree at the bottom of the garden.

Good call Wendy. Not sure about Dame Slap (?) as a neighbour though!

Good call Wendy. Not sure about Dame Slap (?) as a neighbour though! Yeah, but she wouldn't be there everyday and probably not as scary when you're a grown up

Yes, and then you can go visit Fitz & the Fool! I would love that soo much!! And it would almost be like being a time traveller too, cos I could pop up all over their timeline at various points by going in and out of the different books!! Nat

When a child I wanted the bedroom in the tower with a dark ceiling painted with stars that was from Little White Horse - Elizabeth Goudge. I think I'd still like to try if for size, even now!

I've always wanted a bedroom in a tower, or attic.

I always wanted to the live in the cottage in the Magic Faraway books, with the wood and the eponymous tree at the bottom of the garden. ...and I was just thinking myself "Adventures of the Wishing Chair" (still got that book from my childhood). I always wanted to sit in that chair and sprout wings and fly away. I often dream I am actually flying over roof tops, kind of free feeling, but sitting in the chair would be more magical.

I've always wanted a bedroom in a tower, or attic. I have stayed at a Windmill .. my bedroom was round and had all the workings in the ceiling .. Both my ideal room, and a complete nightmare !!

What a lovely idea!
I think I'd like to live in Jack Kerouac's On the Road. To feel free. To travel and experience life.
