Library e-book wishlister. Chien 51 by Laurent Gaudé. Distopian story in which Greece is bailed out its financial troubles by a powerful multinational, then is turned into a dictature. Chien 51 is a cop in a poor part of the country. New issue, not yet translated into English.

It looks like I've started a book swap system with a colleague (well, actually his wife) without meaning to, and today I got:
Diana by Andrew Morton Snowed in for Christmas by Sarah Morgan
I feel wonderful as it's a nice thing to do, we get along well at work and I always like it when my books go to friends instead of to the charity shop. But I can already hear my TBR groaning...

Two Kindle wishlisters. O Caledonia by Elspeth Barker and The Reef by Nora Roberts ( only because it's set in St Kitts and Nevis).
And Lessons in Chemistry by Bonnie Garmus, my next audiobook.

Magpie by Elizabeth Day from the charity shop. I've only just realised this is the same author as How to Fail, which I really liked.
Also Vox by Christina Dalcher, but that one's not for me.

Library e-book. La nuit des pères by Gaëlle Josse. A brother and a sister are trying to obtain from their brutal father the reason why he behaved so badly, before he slips completely into dementia. Probably quite dark but came recommended.
